Inherent 1866, the site contains different structures of enthusiasm, including the Khmer-style Throne Hall, now utilized for exceptional stately events. South of the Throne Hall are the Royal Treasury and the Villa of Napoleon III, assembled in Egypt in 1866, for the opening of the Suez Canal , and was later exhibited to the Cambodian lord as a blessing. The renowned Silver Pagoda, initially developed of wood in 1866, was extended in 1962 by King Sihanouk who had the floor decorated with 5,329 strong silver tiles,hence its name. The most loved picture is the Emerald Buddha, made of Baccarat precious stone and going back to the seventeenth century.
Behind it, another Buddha statue was thrown in 1906, using 90 kg of gold, and enhanced with 9,584 jewels. Cupboards along the edge contain endowments displayed to eminence and dignitaries.
